Get in touchEmissions reports according to the updated methodologies
To help you understand your emissions, Kuehne+Nagel provides emissions reports and data for transport services booked with us. This data is available on myKN for your air, sea and road shipments.
Starting April 2026, our emissions calculation methodologies have been updated to align with the most recent EcoTransIT updates. We also refined our model to better reflect operational reality and to improve data granularity.
This update enhances the accuracy of shipment emissions data across all transport modes and applies retroactively to shipments from January 2026.
Our emissions reporting has always aligned with the most robust and recent international carbon emission calculation standards using the best available data. As these standards evolve and more granular data becomes available, we continuously update our emissions calculation methodologies in line with ISO 14083:2023 and the latest GLEC 3.2 framework.
What this means for you
From April 21, you may see slight changes in reported emissions values on myKN Track and myKN Analytics.
To ensure a consistent annual baseline, emissions data will be updated retroactively for shipments from January 2026.
Reports will refresh gradually over a few days.
Year-on-year comparability is maintained through a consistent annual baseline.
There is no change to your services or operations – this update affects emissions reporting only.
If you have questions about your emissions data, your Kuehne+Nagel contact will be happy to support.
