At Kuehne+Nagel, we recognise that modest gifts and hospitality can help build strong business relationships
However, we are equally committed to ensuring that such gestures never compromise – or appear to compromise – our integrity, independence, or compliance with applicable law and Kuehne+Nagel Code of Conduct and internal policies.
Gifts and entertainment
Employees, officers, and third parties acting on our behalf are prohibited from offering, giving, or receiving of gifts or entertainment that could improperly influence business decisions or the appearance thereof, or create conflicts of interest. This includes immodest meals, travel, accommodation, or anything that could be perceived as bribes or given to obtain undue advantages.
Gifts and entertainment must always be modest, infrequent, transparent, properly recorded, and legal. Special care must be taken when dealing with government officials; generally, any gifts to government officials are prohibited under Kuehne+Nagel policy and may be prohibited by law.
The Confidential Reporting Line
Violations of this policy can lead to serious consequences, including disciplinary action, termination, and legal penalties. If members of Kuehne+Nagel Group encounter situations that feel questionable, they are encouraged to speak up. Reports can be made confidentially through the Kuehne+Nagel Confidential Reporting Line, and we strictly prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises concerns in good faith.
By working together with integrity, we protect our people, our reputation, and our future.
This policy commitment is regularly reviewed to ensure it remains effective and aligned with evolving legal standards, internal regulation, and best practices.
