Stefan Paul, Chief Executive Officer

Stefan Paul was trained as a freight forwarder and kick-started his management career in 1990 at Kuehne+Nagel in the sea freight department. From 1997 to 2013, he held various senior management positions at the DHL Group in Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom, with his last role as the CEO of DHL Freight Germany.

In 2013, Stefan Paul returned to Kuehne+Nagel, where he assumed responsibility for Road Logistics in the Management Board. In this role, he expanded and globalised the business while increasing profitability. He additionally assumed the responsibilities for Global Sales.

Stefan Paul also serves as a member of the Member of the Board of Directors of Zurich Airport Ltd. (Flughafen Zürich AG). Additionally he is on the Board of Directors for the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council (IBLAC) for the Mayor of Shanghai.
