World-class service for precious prototype
After 10 years of design in the Lotus Headquarters in Hethel, the first all-new product Evija prototype was unveiled in July 2019. This is a very precious car and the Lotus team wanted the very best service to take care of it when the 2020 world tour began.
The Expo & Events team loves using their expertise to support putting a spectacular show on the road - especially when moving a game-changing road and racing supercar.

As part of its tour of fame, the car needed transportation from the UK to the US, Europe, Middle East and China. Moving such a valuable, unique and innovative car, between each event, required a team of experts to ensure the suitable transportation, secure storage and delivery to various venues.
Our Road Logistics, Air Logistics and Expo & Events teams sprang into action, safely transporting the Evija by air to reach the US on time for the first event where it was proudly displayed. In March 2020, the vehicle flew from our UK Heathrow South Cargo Centre (HSCC) to our US Atlanta facility to embark on a series of private US events before returning to the UK to pick up the tour's European leg. However, due to the pandemic, this part of the tour was postponed.
The success of the US events was a great example of teamwork and our dedication to delivering exciting events for our Customers

2020 was a challenging year for the event industry; however we look forward to developing our relationship with Lotus further and supporting them showcase their unique and exciting prototypes at key automotive events as soon as the event industry picks back up
